Academic Testing / Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) – For children only
Every child learns in their own unique way, and understanding how they process information can make a world of difference. At Silveraura Psychology, our Academic Testing for Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) helps identify areas of strength, areas needing support, and whether conditions such as dyslexia or dysgraphia are present. Through a detailed and child-friendly assessment process, we work with families to provide clear insights, practical recommendations, and a pathway forward to help each child thrive at school and beyond.
The process includes:
Initial Consultation
(1 hour)
Assessment
(3.5 hours)
- Cognitive (IQ) assessment
- Functional assessment of literacy skills (phonetical knowledge, word reading, reading rate, comprehension, accuracy)
- Functional assessment of written expression skills (spelling, handwriting, grammar and punctuation, organisation and clarity)
Report and Feedback
(approximately 3-4 weeks following the assessment)
Feedback Consultation
(30 mins) - Comprehensive Report provided
Total Cost $1850
Payment Schedule
$215 is payable at the time of initial consultation, and the balance is due on the day of the assessment. Payment plans are available, however reporting and feedback are not completed until full payment is received.
